Veterans Stand Down: Free Dental Care for Veterans

 

The San Joaquin Dental Society Foundation is proud to introduce Veterans Stand Down, a new community service event dedicated to providing free dental care to veterans in the San Joaquin area. Inspired by the success of SJDS Foundation’s Give Kids a Smile program, this event reflects the dental community’s commitment to serving those who have served our country.

The first Veterans Stand Down dental event will be held on Saturday, October 3, 2026, from 8:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at St. Raphael’s Dental Clinic in Stockton. Volunteer dental professionals will provide no-cost dental services to eligible veterans, including exams, cleanings, fillings, extractions, root canals, and additional care as available.

This event is designed to help reduce barriers to oral health care for veterans while showing appreciation for their service and sacrifice. SJDS Foundation is honored to partner with local dentists, dental team members, volunteers, and community supporters to make this important program possible.
