San Joaquin Dental Society Foundation
Established in 2020, the 501(c)3 not-for-profit charity arm of the San Joaquin Dental Society was founded by dentists in the San Joaquin County area to provide funding for dental health education and dental health programs in our community. The Foundation is funded solely through contributions, bequests, fundraising events, donation of services, planned giving and grants. We are a small Foundation, with one staff member and a five-member Board of Directors.
The intent of SJDSF is to provided funding for a wide variety of projects that increase access to dental care. SJDSF hosts educational events for local school age children. SJDSF offers scholarships to students entering both dental and dental auxiliary schools. SJDSF provides volunteers for community events and programs such as Give Kids A Smile, St. Raphael's Dental Clinic, Veterans Stand Down, and other community events. Through these events, our volunteers provide free dental care to under-served members of our community.
